1．基本信息
蔡铁，男，1983年5月生，山西朔州人，博士，副教授，硕士生导师。2007年毕业于山西农业大学，获理学学士学位；2013年博士研究生毕业于山东农业大学（硕博连读），获理学博士学位。2014年就职于西北农林科技大学农学院。2016年至2019年在西北农林科技大学“作物学”博士后流动站从事“旱区作物高效用水理论与技术”方面的研究。

3．开设课程
承担本科生的《旱农学》、《作物栽培学》、《创意农业设计》等课程的教学工作。

先后主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目、“十二五”农村领域国家科技计划子课题，陕西省自然科学基础研究计划、作物生物学国家重点实验开放课题、西北农林科技大学基本科研业务费等课题。
